Hez is a modern kind of guy in that he's not about to let being a few centuries old stop him from having his fun. He goes south for amusement, but his roots are in New England, along with his money and the town that protects him. Also in New England is Scotty, the guy that Hez has been trying to impress for a dozen years -- with no success.

What's a vampire to do in order to win his man? Whatever he can, as it turns out, and Hez spends a fortune creating the type of setting that he thinks will impress Scotty. Of course, it all goes terribly wrong...
