Kelly has written a beautiful story of friendship and of falling in love, Brett and Josh connecting first as friends, and then bonding as a family with their children. The men date as a family, their outings revolving around places like pizza restaurants and backyard barbeques. But the story takes on a bittersweet tone, along with a layer of amusement, as they men discover their feelings run deeper than friendship and try to find time for something more intimate. It seems the whole world was conspiring against them on their first real date. And when Kelly finally brings them together for their first night of lovemaking, it’s passionate and intense, yet heartbreaking to see them so starved for the touch of a lover.

I highly recommend this story as well as their wedding sip, A Forever Family, which continues Brett and Josh's story.
